    How to find us

    1770 LARC! Tours depart from the quaint seaside village of the town of 1770 (Seventeen Seventy), Queensland. Centrally placed along the coastline between Gladstone and Bundaberg. Our lovely locality is surrounded on land by National Park and by the water with the Southern Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

    Self-Drive

    Just a 5 ½ hours drive north of Brisbane and eight hours drive south of the Whitsundays travelling on the A1 Bruce Highway.

    • Gladstone – 1.5hr
    • Bundaberg – 1.5hr
    • Hervey Bay – 3hr
    • Brisbane – 5.5hr
    • Airlie Beach – 8hr

    Rail

    Queensland Rail train services operate to Miriam Vale with coach connections available to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water by prior arrangement.

     Air

    QantasLink, Virgin and Alliance Australia operate regular scheduled services from Brisbane to Bundaberg, to Gladstone, to Rockhampton and to Hervey Bay. Hire vehicles are available at all these airports and coach connections available by prior arrangement.

    Bus

    Greyhound Bus service operates from the north and from the south into Agnes Water daily. The arrival and departure point is at the Ampol service station, cnr Round Hill Road and Captain Cook Drive, Agnes Water.

    Premier Bus service operates from the north and south to the ‘T’ intersection at Taunton, 35km from the town centre of Agnes Water. Shuttle connections are available to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water by prior arrangement.
